Shipley Family

I met this adorable family last week at Thornhill in Faust Park. It was a gorgeous and warm fall afternoon, and I had a great time chasing around Miss Maddie Claire. She was an absolute gem, and her little sister Bella Grace was so chill and happy, they were a pleasure to work with. Oh, and their parents did a good job too.:)Becca and Nick, thank you both for trusting me with your family. I had a wonderful time and look forward to doing it again!!!

Shanna+Dan |Married

Last Saturday was the beautiful BEAUTIFUL wedding of Shanna+Dan. I will also add now, that you will notice as we go, that they also had 3 of the most adorable flower girls EVER! So we started out at one of my favorite churches, then discovered one of my new favorite spots (the skeleton church, I call it), gave a usher a nickname that stuck with him throughout the day (it was Coat Rack, in case you were wondering) and then ended the portrait session at my favorite field in the whole world. Or…at least St. Louis. These two were simply stunning and just so happy to be getting married. It was wonderful. I told Shanna, that when Dan saw her for the first time when she was coming down the aisle, said “wow” had this huge smile on his face. It was one of those moments that was just so sweet and so honest. It makes me so happy to be able to witness those raw and beautiful moments between people.Shanna and Dan, you are married and beautiful and I was just thrilled to share your day with you! xo

Erica+Monte | Married

Erica+Monte had a great small and intimate wedding at Oliva on the Hill. It was a beautiful evening and a beautiful venue. Erica is an interior designer and did ALL OF THE DETAILS HERSELF. Yes, that’s right. The flowers, the candles, the monograms, all of it. And it was done with such attention to detail, that I was in detail heaven. Erica and Monte, the two of you looked amazing and you have such a beautiful family. It was a pleasure to work with you!

Wendy+Jeremy | Married

What a beautiful wedding. Wendy+Jeremy got married last Sunday at Westwood Country Club and what a day it was. The club was simply beautiful, I had been on their gorgeous grounds before, but never inside, the details were nailed to perfection (I got my very first pair of Jimmy Choos-holla!), the flowers (by Wildflowers) were AMAZING, especially the hops (yes, HOPS as in beer) covered chuppah. The wedding party looked fantastic in gray suits and dresses and Wendy had the perfect short dress (to show off those Choos) and since she wasn’t wearing a veil, she had one built into her dress. A very clever girl. Wendy and Jeremy were a simply beautiful couple. Just filled with happiness and butterflies and all the goods for such an amazing day. The rain even held off for us until it didn’t matter anymore. Wendy+Jeremy, I had a wonderful time with you and your lovely families, and I only look forward to more! xo
