Dave+Amanda | Married!

July 23rd 2011 was hot. Ridiculously hot. But you’d never know it from how Dave and Amanda looked. Absolutely beautiful. And what a fun day we had. They were married in Graham Chapel on the Wash U. campus and after shooting around the fantastic campus we went to seek air conditioning at The Chase, where I was able to get some of my favorite images of the day.  Then we got kicked out.:)Such love and such fun, thank you both for including me in your special day. And a special thanks to Stephanie for seconding. You were fantastic!

Baby Everett

Wow. Okay, so I am a bad blogger. Well, it’s a new year, so let’s see if I can be any better at it. We’ll start this year off with Baby Everett, who is the baby brother of one Noah’s friends at school. Reagan, whom I love. So I had told her mom when she announced that she was pregnant that I HAD to photograph him when he was born. And I’m so glad I got the chance. He was such a little bitty guy with super chubby cheeks that you just want to give big smooches too. And I probably did. Reagan was such a good big sister, who came in to check on us and also to pose for a photo with her new brother. So…enough chit chat, on to the main event. Enjoy Everett, I sure did.

Baby Reese

Back in May I was delighted to meet up with the Qualls family again, this time to photograph their newest edition Reese. She was such a cutie, and a joy to photograph. She wasn’t much into sleeping, but I was finally able to get her to snooze for just long enough to capture a few with her eyes closed.

Thank you again to Tom and Ellen, for having me into your home and to photograph your newest little bundle!

Annie+Bill got hitched!

This is a post I meant to have up a MONTH ago, but thanks to Google mixing things up a bit, they really mixed me up too. Anyhoo…here it is.

May 21st 2011 was an awesome AWESOME day. It was supposed to storm and we had blue skies and big puffy clouds. I got to work with Alecia Hoyt for the first time (and she brought me a Gus’s hot dog wrapped pretzel…ummm, yum). BUT most importantly…Annie+Bill got married. These two were so cute and soooo in love, it was fantastic. They were up for anything and everything, which always leads to fun and exciting images.
One of the many reasons these two were so fabulous, they put together EVERYTHING for this wedding themselves. Whether finding it on Etsy (Annie’s super cute dress, and the killer cuff links) or making it themselves, these two put so much love and thought into their day that it couldn’t have been anything less than spectacular. Even if the sky had turned black and it had poured all day, these two would still have had an amazing wedding.

Bill and Annie, you two were an absolute dream to work with and I am still so happy to have been a part of such an amazing event.

Thanks again to Alecia for all of her help and talent!

Amanda+Dave: Engagement

I met Amanda and Dave a few months ago to talk about shooting their wedding in July. And to my happiness I got a call back from them within 48 hours with the wonderful news that they had chosen me to document their big day. We met up at City Garden on Saturday to do their engagement session and we had such a good time. We fought for shade, but we were successful in creating some fabulous images.

Amanda and Dave, I had a great time working with you and I can’t wait to shoot your wedding in July!!!
