Patrick | 3 months

This is the first of four posts that my little friend Patrick will be the star. (Along with his big sis Annabelle.) Patrick is such a happy little man, that he makes my job so easy. And his family couldn’t be cuter and more fun to work with. Andi and Matt chose to do a First Year Collection, and it has been fantastic to visit with them every three months and watch their wonderful kids grow.

Enjoy!

Laura+Adam | Engaged

I love Laura and Adam. Love ’em. They are absolutely one of the sweetest couples I have ever had the opportunity to work with. They live in Edwardsville, and wanted to have the session over there so that they could bring Laura’s dog Gus. Good ol’ Gus. I had never shot in Edwardsville and so they asked if I wanted some suggestions for places to shoot. Well, sure. Not going to turn that down.:)So I start getting photo texts of possible locations from Laura. How awesome is that?! And can they every pick out locations. The old barn that we started out at was great, but I have to say that my favorite location was out in a field on SIUE’s campus. The light was delicious and Laura and Adam were radiant. Well, Laura was radiant and Adam was handsome.:)So enjoy these two lovebirds and come back to check out their wedding, because it was a fantastic way to end my 2011 wedding season. I couldn’t have asked for more.

This one was my absolute favorite of the day.

Sarah+Brad | Engaged

One of the most important things for Brad and Sarah is to walk their dogs. They have three. They walk them every day, together if possible, and they have a route they always take. So we took that route for the session. And the three dogs. It’s important to me to get these little details, because they aren’t little to my clients. If it makes you happy, then I want to capture that for you. After spending some time with the doggies, we headed off to Westwood CC and the sun came out. And it was beautiful.

Enjoy…

Baby Luke | Newborn Session

I met Luke’s mom with no intentions of a newborn session. She had contacted me about doing her wedding album design for her, and just happened to be pregnant. Talk about timing! So we sat and discussed wedding albums…and a newborn session. Shortly after that I was at there house (which was awesome BTW) and happily photographing their newest addition. It was clear how absolutely smitten they were this little man, and I have to admit, I was too.

Enjoy!

Mark+Phoebe get hitched!

What a fun wedding these two had. A snazzy suit paired with a short dress, peacock blue, homemade flags, rings in a bonsai tree and belly dancers were some of the unique details these two had. Oh, and they were in luuuurve. Over the moon, I am so happy to be marrying you kind of luuurve. I had such a fun time working with these two, I was smiling the entire time. And so were they.
Phoebe and Mark, thank you for trusting me to document this very special day in your lives. I enjoyed every minute, and hope to work with you again and again.

Enjoy!
